The Jackpad® System
The Jackpad® system combines steel adjusters with plastic support blocks and packers to create strong, adaptable temporary foundations for modular installations up to three storeys tall.
STEEL ADJUSTER
Consisting of two parts, the steel adjuster provides the fine adjustment capabilities of the system. The base plate is universal to all installations, while the receiving plate incorporates a 42mm thread and nut and can be designed to suit your specific modular units.

JACKPAD® 400 SUPPORT BLOCK
At the heart of the temporary foundation system, the Jackpad® 400 support block takes the vertical load and disperses it through the base. The Jackpad® support block is manufactured from recycled plastic and is itself 100% recyclable.
Dimensions: 360mm x 360mm x 80mm

INCREMENTAL PACKERS
Also manufactured from recycled plastic, incremental packers provide a simple solution to overcome fall of ground on uneven sites. Fitted with interlocking lugs, the incremental packers remain stable even when stacked in multiples.
Dimensions: 450m x 450mm x 50mm

Together, these three components form a proven foundation system that delivers strength, adjustability and reusability, ensuring safe, sustainable temporary foundations – and long-term support where projects require – for any portable building installation.
Jackpad® System Technical Data
All the key specifications you need to help you understand how the Jackpad® system performs on your site, including safe working loads (SWL) and kN (kilonewton) load limits.

Single Position Configuration – SWL 48kN (Proof Tested 60kN)
Predominantly used to support single-storey modular buildings, each single Jackpad® system has a SWL of 48kN.

Single Position Configuration – SWL 48kN (Proof Tested 60kN)
Predominantly used to support single-storey modular buildings, each single Jackpad® system has a SWL of 48kN.

Double Position Configuration – SWL 96kN (Proof Tested 120kN)
The double Jackpad® position incorporates a bridging adjuster and can support a SWL of 96kN. Typically, the double adjuster would be used in single-storey back-to-back installations and double-storey single-column positions.

Quadruple Position Configuration - SWL 146kN (Proof Tested 182kN)
The quadruple Jackpad® position consists of a plate adjuster supported by four Jackpad® units and incremental packers. With a SWL of 146kN, typical applications would be double-storey double-column or treble-storey single-column configurations.

Beam Configuration – SWL 295kN (Proof Tested 385kN)
To support loads of up to 295kN, which are typically found on some larger double- and treble-storey building configurations, a beam is used to bridge two quadruple adjusters.

Frequently Asked Questions
We’re here to answer any questions you may have about the system. Just get in touch. Here are some common queries and our answers.
Do I need ground preparation before installing Jackpad® foundation pads?
The key consideration is the relationship between load and ground-bearing capacity. Jackpad® foundation pads are designed to sit directly on stable surfaces such as playgrounds, car parks, tarmac, concrete and compacted gravel. The key requirement is bearing capacity, so if needed, our team will advise on simple preparation.
